Two men arrested for murder of 5-year-old

Two persons have been arrested and charged for the murder of 5-year-old Kia Herbert. They are 27-year-old Lindon Mark Hinds and 25-year-old Kendale Flores. They were also charged with Attempted Murder, Grievous Harm, Use of Deadly Mean of Harm, and Conspiracy to Commit Murder for injuring Kia’s mother, Francis Herbert, in the shoulder. The shooting occurred on March 17 as Kia and her mother, Francis Herbert, slept in their home on Pitter Street. According to police, the two persons shot were not the intended target. That person reportedly lives nearby, and police are continuing to patrol the area.
