Today, 19 year old Darwin Prado and 18 year old Egbert Baldwin were charged with three counts of attempted murder, three counts of use of deadly means of harm, one count of dangerous harm, one count of grievous harm and one count of wounding. They appeared in court today before Magistrate Emerita Anderson and no plea were taken from them because the offences are indictable and could not receive bail. On May 14, four persons were socializing in a yard on Marage Road in Ladyville when they were approached by three gunmen Egbert Baldwin, Darwin Prado and Lionel Rhamdas. Two of the gunmen came from behind the house and one from the front. The gunmen opened fire and between an exchanges of fire 23 year old Lionel Rhamdas, was shot and killed. Three of the men who were socializing in the yard received gunshot injuries. Police cannot confirm as yet if Rhamdas was killed by his allies or by the opposite group of men. Baldwin and Prado were remanded into custody until August 15.
