UB Partnership Eases Education Path for Stann Creek Junior College Graduates

Students at Stann Creel Ecumenical Junior College (SCEC) will now have a much easier time furthering their education thanks to a memorandum of understanding with the University of Belize. Today, the institutions signed a cooperative agreement that will allow graduates of the junior college to transfer credits to UB and obtain a bachelor’s degree in their field of study in two years. Karen Martinez, SCEC’s Dean, spoke to Love News about the initiative. 

President of the University of Belize, Dr. Vincent Palacio, added that the agreement includes establishing a new business administration course at the junior college. 

The school says it is ready to begin accepting applications.
