UDP Announces Jose Luis Uc Espat as Standard Bearer for Albert Constituency

The Alliance for Democracy wasn’t the only one that endorsed a new candidate today.  Love News understands that without much fanfare, the United Democratic Party officially announced its new candidate for the Albert Constituency for the imminent general elections. Via Facebook, the party announced that national anti-corruption and social justice activist Jose Luis Uc Espat will serve as the new Standard Bearer for the Albert Constituency. According to the party, Espat comes with a long track record of fighting against corruption in government and for justice for families who have been victims of violence. It is an interesting turn of events as Tracy Panton continues to claim to be the UDP’s Area Representative for the constituency.
