Unclaimed $111K Million Dalla Jackpot Prize to Be Donated to Charity

Belize Government Lotteries Limited (BGLL) has announced that more than $111,000 in unclaimed winnings from the Million Dalla Jackpot game drawn on December 20, 2025, will be donated to a charitable organization. According to a public notice issued by the company, eight of the nine winning tickets from the draw were redeemed. However, one winning ticket, valued at $111,111.11, was not presented for payment within the stipulated 30-day claim period, as outlined in the game’s terms and conditions.  BGLL explained that while unclaimed winnings are customarily returned to the company’s total revenue, the Million Dalla Jackpot was structured differently. Profits from the game were earmarked for charitable donation, subject to approval by the company’s Board of Directors. Although the game did not generate an overall profit, the Board has decided that the unclaimed prize money will still be donated.  The recipient or recipients of the $111,111.11 donation are expected to be determined at the next meeting of BGLL’s Board of Directors, scheduled for mid-February.  The company also noted that proceeds from its games are routinely used to support national initiatives, including the National Health Insurance, sports development, and other charitable and social programs benefiting Belizeans.
