Update on Burglary in Dangriga

Police continue to investigate a robbery in Dangriga Town. 40 thousand dollars was stolen from the public purse. Last Friday, thieves made their way into the Treasury Department in Dangriga Town and gained access to the treasury’s vault. The thieves reportedly stole over forty thousand dollars before making good their escape. Today, our newsroom asked Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams, for further details but Williams says so far little is known. 

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I am familiar with the incident at Dangriga Treasury but at this time other than what has been shared I have no further update. Police are still working on that matter and we’re hoping that we will be able to get some positive leads soon and then we can give you an update on that matter.”
