To date there are three persons who have tested positive with COVID-19. According to the Director of Health Services they are all on the road to recovery and have not required hospitalization.
Dr.Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services: “We have the three patients they are all doing seemingly well with very minor signs and symptoms and I think that’s positive to hear in that regard. We are continuing to swab patients and we are going to continue to now expand our testing across the country in terms of doing random testing for potential cases in the community. To date we have done 103 tests now three of those are the cases you all know are positive. All of the patients when I checked with the person who communicates with them had indicated that they have minor signs and symptoms with no specific treatment. Every patient will be different, fortunately for now at least these three patients seem to be doing very well when you compare it to what you’re seeing elsewhere.”
The mapping exercise for the third patient concluded today. We will have an update on the three exercises later in this newscast.
