Valentino Shal Holds Over as CEO, Oversees Major Transport Sector Improvements

Chief Executive Officer Valentino Shall is holding over as CEO in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Transport.  CEO Shal took over from Gilroy Middleton who stepped down a few weeks back due to health issues.  Since his appointment as the interim CEO, Shal has been tackling several areas including the rehabilitation of the Belmopan Bus Terminal; the replacement and repairs of the lighting at the Independence, Orange Walk and Belize City bus terminals; the acquisition of new uniforms for terminal staff in Belize City with other orders in queue; as well as uniforms for traffic wardens.  Love News further understands that the bathroom facilities have been repaired at various terminals and the issue of the unavailability of license plates and vehicle stickers are now a thing of the past.  Come Friday, the Ministry of Transport will see the opening of a new office in Independence Village.
