Doctor Manzanero also explained that the long awaited ventilators are still on their way. They are expected to arrive next week, but according to the doctor, the delay is not surprising.

Dr.Marvin Manzanero, Director of Health Services: “They were supposed to have arrived on Monday – they’re coming by flight from Miami. There were some issues with the company that’s shipping them here. My understanding is that the new delivery date is on Tuesday of next week so for now it’s the ventilators that are at Karl Huesner Only we don’t have any other than the ones that were due to arrive one week ago Friday and then they had told us Monday and well now the new date is next week Tuesday. It’s the same issue that you’re going to be having not only for ventilators for almost all equipment,  you see the US having the same issue, it’s the same thing that’s applicable to us.”
