Viral Video Exposes Police Sexual Assault: Officer Assaulted and Hit Inside Station

In twenty seconds, a video that has gone viral, shows a Police Corporal approaching a woman officer, and sexually assaulting her by cupping her breasts, inside a police station.  The woman was clearly rejecting the attention, and was subsequently hit in the face by the corporal.  The incident speaks volumes as fellow cops stood by and watched the entire situation play out.  The woman, 40-year-old, Lajuana Reynolds, has since made an official report against Corporal Dorman Dawson.  According to Police Commissioner Chester Williams action has been taken.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I found that video to be extremely disgusting and troubling and right away upon seeing it I gave directive that the police corporal be arrested and and charged and interdicted from duty and my exact words are this, I’m going to tell you I’m just going to remove the profanities; that we are in an organization where men believe that this is a man’s job. We have gone beyond that now. This is no longer a man’s job. It is a job for both men and women and as male or men in this organization we must respect our women counterparts. We cannot be in an environment where the women believe that they have no say, they have no rights and that the male can just trample over them. So long as I sit as Commissioner of Police I’m not going to allow or entertain any such behavior on the part of any male police officers. And it is on that premise that I instructed what needs to be done. Again Jules it goes to show that the camera inside the police station are extremely helpful to us because like you have there with you the footage from the police station it shows exactly what transpired and we were able to act decisively on that and I’m hoping that with this case with what transpired with the bar owner we can get similar footage that can demonstrate to us what exactly took place at the police station.”

Further reports indicated that the department had attempted to cover up the incident as nothing was placed in the Police blotter.  Commissioner Williams denies those reports.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “No, no, no, no. Pat your brakes. I don’t know who is Dorham Dawson.”

Reporter: He’s the brother of –

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “I don’t know who he is so please pat your brakes. Everything to everybody that happens you want to say is my friend okay?”

Reporter: You’re a friendly man.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “That scrumptious meal that you have, spit it out because it is not so. Now as I have said before and I don’t know where you get the notion from that we’re trying to cover up something. If there was an intent to cover up do you think the man would have been charged immediately ? Yes or no ?”

Reporter: No.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “Thank you. If there was an intent to cover up do you think that he would have been interdicted immediately ?”

Reporter: Sir the evidence is such.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “No man. Do you think -“

Reporter: No sir.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “Thank you. So where the hell do you come from with us trying to cover up something when we did everything that we could have done legally and even went beyond.”

Reporter: Except report on it to the public.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police: “Jules Vasquez, the sources you have within police are more impeccable than the commissioner or the press office. They feed you everything. There is nothing that you could cover up in police right now. Nothing. So please let’s not go down that route right ? There was absolutely no intent to cover nothing. That’s the reason why we took immediate action to charge the policeman and interdicted him from duty. What more can I do ?”

The incident unfolded in the San Ignacio Police Station on Valentine’s Day.
