He was last sighted in Belize and tonight authorities in the US are offering fifty thousand US dollars for information that will lead authorities to thirty-seven-year-old ex-marine Raymond McLeod. He fled the US after allegedly murdering his girlfriend at an Allied Gardens apartment nearly five years ago. The U.S. Marshal Service McLeod will be the first fugitive in history on the Five Most Wanted List with an initial reward of up to fifty thousand US dollars. Authorities say that McLeod poses a significant threat to the public and must be brought to justice. Investigators believe McLeod fled through Mexico to Central America; he was reportedly sighted in Guatemala in 2017 and in Belize the following year. The suspect, who often has gone by the nickname “R.J.,” now may be identifying himself as Matt or Mateo and is believed to have grown a beard as a disguise. He is considered armed and dangerous. His girlfriend, thirty-year-old Krystal Mitchell, was found beaten and strangled in June 2016.
