Water Crisis Resolved in Independence Village, Stann Creek District

Residents of Independence Village, Stann Creek District are relieved tonight after a water shortage in their community has been solved. The community’s water supply was limited for almost a week because its water tank suffered infrastructural damage. The issue sparked outrage among residents and led to several villagers calling for a solution. Fortunately, the community’s Chairman, Clifton Garbutt, says the problem was identified and resolved in the late hours of last night.

We note that several southern communities have faced water troubles over the past two years.
