Weather Patterns Changing for Christmas: Chief Met Officer Advises Caution

The month of December is upon us, and while in year’s past Belize has experienced cool and dry weather conditions for the Christmas season, experts say weather patterns are changing. Chief Met Officer, Ronald Gordon, says that it is still too early to determine what kind of weather we may be facing this Christmas season, but that global conditions are showing a pattern. 

Gordon stressed at various points in our conversation today that the potential for heavy rainfall and flooding is still possible up into February and that the public should remain vigilant.
