Well-Known Pastor’s Daughter Bravely Speaks Out About Molestation by Fellow Church Member

Tonight, there are disturbing reports coming out of Belmopan as a daughter of a well-known pastor has come out public to say she was molested by a businessman and fellow church member.  The young lady who first braved the court of public opinion was Rebecca Stirm, the daughter of Pastor Scott Stirm.  She told her story saying that at the age of eleven she was sexually molested by this man who was in his 20s at the time.  Once her story went viral, we understand that as many as five other young ladies spoke out, saying they too had been sexually preyed on by the very same businessman.  Stirm indicated that she has been seeking counseling to overcome the trauma she endured.  Love News reached out to Pastor Stirm who told us via message, quote, “That’s our wonderful daughter. We were broken to find out about it. We stand with our daughter and we’re walking with her thru this.  (We are) not interested in juicy back & forth. She went public to bring awareness. We support her fully.”  End of quote.  It is yet to be seen if these young ladies will come together to seek legal justice.  Our newsroom will keep following this story.
