On January 27, Christopher Faber, a barber of 7747 Madam Lizarraga Avenue, had reported to the police that he was at the house of his friend, Dorian Usher, located at 7771 Madam Lizarraga Avenue, playing cards when an altercation ensued between him and Darrell Usher. He said Darell Usher punched him several times in his face. He said he picked up a pint bottle to defend himself and that was when Dorian pointed a firearm at him and told him to stop, otherwise he would be forced to shoot. He said he then heard several shots and he ran out of the yard. As a result, two brothers, Darrel and Dorian Usher were charged. Thirty-six-year-old police corporal Darrel “Tutis” Usher, who is on interdiction for a charge of drug trafficking, was arraigned on a charge of harm when he appeared today before Magistrate Emerson Banner. The charge was withdrawn by the complainant, 26-year-old Christopher Faber, who said in court that he didn’t want any further court action.
Darrel’s brother, 35-year-old Dorian Usher, was arraigned on the more serious charge of aggravated assault with a firearm. Christopher Faber also told the judge he didn’t want any further court action and the charge was withdrawn. The incident occurred around 8 p.m. Dorian was represented in court by attorney Alifa Elrington.
