Orange Walk Resident Darren Pugh is what we commonly call “known to the police.” In 2015, he was detained for questioning alongside the late Orange Walk Gang boss Junior Triminio following a murder incident. He was never charged but the department continued to keep tabs on Pugh. The officer in charge of the National Crimes Investigation branch, Joseph Myvett says on Saturday the police department raided his house at 9:45 a.m.
ACP Joseph Myvett: “Orange Walk Police acting upon information visited the home of one Darren Pugh on Riverside Street Orange Walk Town where they conducted a search. Pugh was the only occupant present at the time of the search and during the search Police discovered five black plastic bags with suspected cannabis. When weighed it amounted to 2637 grams. Pugh has since been arrested and charged for possession with intent to supply a controlled drug. He was charged with Possession and Intent to Supply other than to only have been charged with Drug Trafficking.”
