When will Boledo be back ?

When will the Boledo and Sunday Lottery make a return? That’s the question being asked by many Belizeans. Since the exclusive license contract for Brad’s Gaming Group was revoked, a date for a return of the games is yet to be announced. The government is now establishing a publicly owned and operated Boledo Gaming Group Limited, which will use the proceeds to fund the National Health Insurance Scheme. But how long will it take? According to Prime Minister John Briceno, Belizeans hoping to cash in on the new “Fi we Boledo” will have to wait a few more weeks.

Hon. John Briceño, Prime Minister of Belize: “In the next few weeks. Again as I repeat we did not want to do anything before because we really tried to work with Brads and we were constantly reminding them where they have not been meeting the legal obligations that they signed on and they didn’t. So until that time came that we found that they had no intentions of doing that we ended that agreement and so now we’re in the process of working on the app and then looking at setting up the company. Well we already registered the company now we have to get members to the board of directors and get the master agents.”
