Earlier today, our newsroom received reports that the controlled price of packed bread was going to see an increase. The increase was reportedly due to an increase in the price of hundred-pound bags of flour. Reports suggested that bakers were in discussions with the ADM Mills in Belize in order to maintain the price of bread on the market. Love News spoke to the Acting Director-General of the Bureau of Standards, Jose Trejo who said that to his knowledge the controlled price of bread has not increased and the BBB has not been contacted or consulted on the matter. Our newsroom will continue to follow this developing story.
