Will the Opposition’s Recurrent Absentees be Present in Tomorrow’s Meeting?

And as the Briceno Administration prepares to table more loan motions and amendments to bills, will the Opposition United Democratic Party see full participation? Will Patrick Faber and Denise “Sista B” Barrow show up this time? We asked Prime Minister John Briceno for his thoughts:

John Briceño, Prime Minister of Belize: “I’m told that the former Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Patrick Faber, is back in Belize, and if he’s back in Belize, I do expect him to go back to the House Meeting. As for Sister B, well, I don’t think she will go, and if she goes, she’ll probably be there for the National Prayer, and then after that she would leave.”

Barrow’s consecutive absences have not been sitting right with the public, given that this is the greatest number of women serving in parliament.
