Accused murderer, Wilmer Escobar, was found guilty this morning in a Supreme Court session in Punta Gorda Town, Toledo District. The 23-year-old has been on remand since January 21, 2018 following charges for two counts of murder. The case stems from the double murder of Josephine Oh and Crisencia Oh on January 22, 2018. The nude and mutilated bodies of the sisters were found two miles off the main road in San Jose Village at around eleven o’clock in the night. The victims were attacked as they walked to their home in San Antonio following a church service in San Jose village. Throughout the trial, Escobar was represented by the now deceased attorney, Herbert Panton while prosecution was led by Javier Chan. Justice Antoinette Moore is expected to hand down sentencing shortly.
