The first place winners of the Belize City House of Culture and Downtown Rejuvenation Project’s History and Social Studies completion are Tyrone McKoy of St. Ignatius Primary School for Zone 1. Meanwhile, Essence Anderson of Bernice Yorke Institute walked away with first place for Zone 2. The competition was held on October 17th and October 18th at the Bliss Centre for the Performing Arts, where a total of fifteen primary schools participated in the competition. Mckoy and Anderson along with the second and third place winners from both zones will go on to the finals on October 26. The competition is a part of the public education campaign for the Belize City House of Culture and Downtown Rejuvenation Project.
