Woman Arrested for Setting Ex-Lover’s Vehicle on Fire in Belize City

Police have arrested and charged a Belize City woman for setting her ex-lover’s vehicle on fire. Fifty-two-year-old German national Sven Ruben called the police on Wednesday night after his neighbor told him that his ex, 42-year-old Tanisha Bunson, was at his home with three other people. Bunson fled at the sight of the police, meanwhile, Ruben told the officers that she was no longer welcome at his home. Ruben then left home and returned around two in the morning to find that his gray Mitsubishi Montero had been set on fire. The vehicle was completely destroyed. Bunson was later arrested and charged with arson.
