Woman Charged for Damaging Vehicle’s Windshield in Belize City

A Belize City woman is out on bail after being charged with smashing the back windshield of a man’s vehicle. Thirty-one-year-old Dedra Jones appeared in the Belize City Magistrate’s Court before Chief Magistrate Jayani Wegodapola, where she was read a single charge of damage to property. She pleaded not guilty to the charge and was granted bail in the sum of one thousand dollars plus one surety of the same amount. Her bail also comes with the condition she must maintain a minimum distance of 100 yards from the complainant, Bryan Young. Jones is due back in court on September 8.
