Woman Charged with Injuring Ex-Boyfriend in Domestic Dispute

A woman was charged with inflicting injury to her ex-boyfriend during a domestic dispute. 31-year-old, Caleva Jones, appeared unrepresented before a senior magistrate in court where she was read a single charge of harm. Jones pleaded not guilty and was offered bail in the sum of $800 plus one surety of the same amount which she met by the end of the day. Conditions to bail is that she must stay 100 yards from her ex-boyfriend, and she must not interfere with him whether directly or indirectly. Allegations from Jones’ ex-boyfriend, 23-year-old Albert Wade, they got into an argument around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday night and that is when she inflicted injuries to his chest, abs, and lower back area with a screwdriver.  Jones’ next court appearance is scheduled for March.
