Woman Robbed in Dangriga Town, Loses Cash and ID Cards in Late-Night Incident

A woman was robbed in Dangriga Town last night. The victim told Love News that she was in a dark area on Ecumenical Drive just before eight o’clock when someone snuck up from behind her and grabbed her purse. She says she lost over two hundred dollars in cash and her ID cards. The victim said that she saw where the robber fled to and tried to confront him to demand her purse back, but later decided to seek assistance from the police. However, when she finally got officers to help her, the robber had already fled.

Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the area as part of an ongoing investigation.
