Woman Stabbed Multiple Times by Common-Law Husband in Sandhill Village

A woman of Sandhill Village, Belize District is recovering from multiple stab wounds she suffered, allegedly at the hands of her common-law-husband. Reports reaching our newsroom say that Danny Maskall was socializing with his spouse at their home at around eleven thirty last night when she caught her sending inappropriate messages to another woman. She reportedly got upset and an argument ensued. The incident turned near fatal when the man pulled a knife and stabbed the woman multiple times. Love News understands that the woman received stab wounds on her left arm, left hand and the left side of her neck. The woman had managed to drive to the Sandhill Police Station for help. She was then taken to the KHMH for treatment. During today’s Police Press Brief, we did ask Assistant Commissioner Hilberto Romero for an update, but he declined.
