 Belize joins the rest of the world in celebrating Women’s History Month. This annual event is geared toward highlighting the achievements of women throughout history and how their contributions have shaped modern-day society. Reporter Giovanna Moguel shares this feature of one of Belize’s most senior female radio announcers, Karen Coote. She has had an extensive career in radio announcing, which later included television broadcasting on a wide range of events across Belize. Here is that story:
