The meeting for Brian Audinett “Yellowman” to appear before the Staff Committee for a hearing has been postponed to a further date. Back in August, PUP Standard Bearer, Louis Zabaneh, made a report to the police on words uttered by Yellowman to him as he had exited the House chambers. Zabaneh referred to it as defamation of character. The Speaker of the House directed the Clerk of the National Assembly to set a meeting for Yellowman to appear before the Staff Committee for a hearing. Love News spoke with Laura tucker-Longsworth, Speaker of the House of Representatives, who told us that there have been delays to the meeting due to some difficulties.
Laura Longsworth, Speaker of the House of Representatives: “We have not had that meeting for a number of reasons. It’s very difficult when you call staff committee meetings. So we have the staff committee meeting scheduled for the first week in December so we’ll be able to give you an update then.”
It is the Staff Committee that will decide how the matter will be addressed internally.
