A resident of Valley of Peace Village, Cayo District was found in an unconscious state over the weekend.  According to our Cayo Correspondent, Fem Cruz, the victim was reported missing by his family.  Here is the story.

Fem Cruz, Cayo Correspondent: 18-year-old Guillermo Alexander Ical of Valley of Peace Village Cayo District was found in an unconscious state on the Valley of Peace Road after he went missing on Friday night. Love News visited the Western Regional Hospital in Belmopan and spoke to Edwin Ical the brother of Guillermo who explained the unfortunate accident.

Edwin Ical, Brother: Friday night we were at home waiting for my brother Alexander to come home. He normally left work at night at M&J in Belmopan. It began to get let and he didn’t return home and we began to worry and in the morning we made a report of my brother being missing. The police told us we have to wait until forty four hours. We didn’t wait on the police and put a search team together where on Saturday afternoon we found him underneath the Valley of Peace Bridge unconscious. He was very weak because he was there for the whole night under the bridge yelling for help. We rushed him to the hospital where he dislocated his right hip, he was bleeding through his ears, nose and mouth. He’s still at the hospital and hopefully he gets better.”
