Medina Bank Access Improves with Completion of Road Works in Toledo District

As a continuation of road works done by the Ministry of Rural Transformation, Community Development, Labour, and Local Government, Medina Bank residents are now enjoying proper road access.  The village is home to 250 Kek’chi and Mopan Maya, and for years, these men, women, and children have had to traverse muddy roads to get to work, home, and school.  During his address at a water project initiative launched this week, Minister of Rural Transformation, Oscar Requena, says this is another milestone for the Toledo District.

The Ministry has provided improvement to the road infrastructure in Golden Stream and Indian Creek.
