New Bridge for J & W Area of Belmopan Nearing Completion

The J & W Area of Belmopan, Located North East of the City, is finally receiving its own bridge to access the area. For some time now, they have been using an improvised bridge made of cement blocks to traverse. In November 2023, Love News reported on the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development answering to the cries of the Belmopan citizens residing in J and W, especially due to the substantial effects not having a proper bridge would have on them during the rainier parts of the year. Belmopan Area Representative, Oscar Mira, spoke to Love News about the progress of the project.

The bridge is expected to be officially opened within the next few months
