American Tourist Robbed of $12,000 Golf Cart in Belize

An American national reported that he was robbed of a brand new $12,000 golf Cart. 45-year-old Daniel Brayan told police that he shipped a Golf cart from Florida to Belize using Hyde’s Shipping Cooperation in December and left it at Belize Port Authority on February 26 while he worked on the permit. When he went back to Belize Port Authority to check on his Golf Cart it was nowhere to be seen. After reviewing surveillance cameras at Belize Port Authority, it was revealed that the Golf Cart was taken out of the Port Authority compound by a flatbed tow truck on March 8.
