Parents Charged with Cruelty as 14-Year-Old Daughter is Found Pregnant

Two parents of San Pablo Village, Orange Walk District, were charged yesterday with cruelty to their child, including abandonment.  The charges came after Police launched an investigation into the case of their pregnant 14-year-old daughter.  The findings of the investigation are that the couple, 47-year-old, Ernesto Ivan Cawich and 54-year-old, Maricela Cawich had allowed their child to go live with a man.  Love News understands that the child has been living with the man since August 2023 and is now five months pregnant.
