Government Reclaims Over 2,000 Acres of Land for Belizean People in Southern Region

The Briceno Administration has returned over two thousand acres of land in the south to the Belizean People. Our newsroom understands that the Ministry of Natural Resources was able to regain the sustainable portions of land from realtor Frick De Meyre. Today, Deputy Prime Minister Cordel Hyde explained that the government had met with concerned Santa Cruz villagers in Toledo and re-acquired the lands. 

Hyde stated that the lands are now being distributed to residents of the village.
