Motorcyclist Yelsin Arias Dies in Orange Walk Traffic Accident

A man lost his life last night in a road traffic incident in the Orange Walk District. Around 7:25, 31-year-old Yelsin Arias was driving his motorcycle on Main Street in Trial Farm Village when he lost control in front of Paraiso Bar. The San Jose villager fell from the motorbike and slammed into the pavement. His cousin Joylyn Burgos says she rushed to the scene when a neighbor informed her that Arias was involved in a traffic incident. Burgos says she and Arias were close growing up and that she was with him when he took his last breath. Burgos gave Love News a tearful recount of the incident.

Arias had been working for less than a year at Quality Poultry’s Orange Walk branch. The branch manager, Lydia Novelo, told Love News he was a hard worker and will be sorely missed by the staff.

Novelo also gave her condolences to Arias’s family.
