Belize City Council Delegation to Attend New York Fest in Brooklyn

The Belize City Council will have representation at the upcoming New York Fest in Brooklyn on September 7.  The event will feature entertainment from Belizean American artists as well as Belizean food. According to Mayor Bernard Wagner, a delegation will be a part of a meet and greet in the Big Apple.

The event has over thirty years of tradition but went dormant over the past five years. Duane Gutierrez, decided to take on the challenge of revitalizing the event.  He is hosting this year’s event through the non-profit organization called NYC Belize Parkfest. Other supporters of the event are the Belize Tourism Board, and the Belmopan City Council.
