With the Speaker having responded to the opposition leader, the aspiring Tracy Panton and Patrick Faber are celebrating a win as her seat in the House of Representatives is safe, at least for now. In a very lengthy statement on Facebook, Panton says she believes that there will be an attempt to remove them from the 12 House Committees she currently sits on as well as the head of the Joint Public Accounts Committee (JPAC). She added that the UDP Leader, Moses Shyne Barrow has engaged in idiotic nonsense, and issued a warning to him, saying, quote, “the higher the monkey climb, the more the monkey exposes himself.” End of quote. Panton has reiterated that the alliance is proceeding with the UDP Convention for October 20, aimed at kicking Barrow out as well as some members of the party’s executives.
