Bosco Supermarket Owner Charged with Assault Following Altercation with Inspector

The owner of Bosco Supermarket on Central American Boulevard was arrested and charged for common assault.  Police picked up 28-year-old, Jiahui Chen, who reportedly assaulted a Consumer Protection Inspector during an inspection at the store.  Reports are that on Friday, September 6, 36-year-old, Nicholas Smith went to the store to carry out an inspection and queried why the bread was not properly priced.  He then informed Chen that he would be issuing a ticket for the offence.  At this point, Chen grabbed the inspector by his shirt collar and began pushing him out the store.  Smith called for backup.  Love News understands that Chen has since been arraigned for common assault.
