Search Continues for Missing Watchman in Turneffe Atoll Reserve

Police are investigating the disappearance of a watchman from an island in the Turneffe Atoll Reserve. On October 16, 46-year-old Herman Good and five other men transported construction materials to an unnamed caye used as a fishing camp. Good and Blayne Flowers Sr. and Blayne Flowers Jr. then remained on the island until October 22. The men told police that they left for the mainland that day and saw Good but when the elder Flowers returned to the island last Friday, he was nowhere in sight. Police say several efforts were then made to locate Good, but his whereabouts remain unknown. Good is described as being of Creole descent, 6 feet 3 inches tall, medium build, with scars on his left cheek and right kneecap. He was last seen wearing a black undershirt, black jersey shorts, and slippers.
