Muffles College Marks 71st Anniversary with Concert Fundraiser

Muffles College in Orange Walk is celebrating its 71st anniversary this weekend with a major concert fundraiser. The renowned Garifuna Collective will be performing at the Muffles Auditorium this Saturday, November 30, backed up by Hyper Sounds. Felix Mai, a teacher for 20 years at the institution, says that this is the second concert commemorating the school’s anniversary. Mai says that the money raised from the event goes back into supporting the school’s initiatives, such as the sports program for student-athletes.

Mai said that tickets are still available and can be bought from the school directly or from teachers.
