Fire Destroys Home in Corozal, Occupant Left With Nothing

A small wooden structure was completely destroyed by fire this morning on Turtle Lane in the Finca Solana area of Corozal, leaving its occupant with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.  The blaze broke out earlier today, and by the time firefighters arrived, the flames had already engulfed the modest home. The structure and all of its contents were destroyed.  Love News correspondent Vince Martinez was on the scene just before eleven o’clock, as firefighters continued working to bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to nearby homes.

Fire officials have not yet confirmed the cause of the blaze, and investigations are ongoing./
