Belize at COP 27

And one of the upcoming global events that Belize will not send a huge delegation to is COP 27 in Egypt. Prime Minister John Briceno will not be attending but according to Foreign Affairs Minister, Eamon Courtenay, Belize will be represented at the ministerial level.

Eamon Courtenay, Foreign Minister of Belize: “I think that’s still under review. It certainly will be at the ministerial level. The Prime Minister was advised by our experts that his presence was not necessarily needed based on what’s on the agenda and what’s not on the agenda he was not advised to go let’s put it that way.”
