Belize’s Youth Services and Commonwealth Partnership to Drive Youth-Centered Policy

The Department of Youth Services in Belize has teamed up with the Commonwealth Secretariat to establish a strategic framework for youth mainstreaming. Youth mainstreaming represents a coordinated, all-of-government approach that promotes equity by addressing the specific social, economic, political, and ecological needs of young people. This initiative aims to embed youth perspectives into national planning processes, ensuring their voices and aspirations shape policy across sectors. The project was initially launched in February of 2019.
