Belmopan Residents Dance for Health on World Health Day

Dozens of residents gathered at the Belmopan Civic Center today to celebrate World Health Day with a dance event. Under the theme “Healthy Beginnings, Hopeful Futures”, the Ministry of Health and Wellness held a dance session to highlight the importance of early health interventions and wellness for the public. The session sought to underscore the need for Belizeans to implement positive lifestyle changes, like eating healthy, exercising regularly, and caring for their mental well-being. Minister of Health and Wellness Kevin Bernard spoke about his participation in today’s event and the message the ministry hoped to send.

The event was supported by the Belmopan City Council and the Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
