Dangriga man shot during argument

 A construction worker was shot yesterday evening during an argument in the Culture Capital. 28-year-old Keron Welch came under fire just after 4:20 while he was on North Riverside Doctor Street. Welch was among a group of men socializing in the area. According to police, Welch and another man began arguing which led to a scuffle between the two. During the incident, Welch picked up a plastic pipe, and as he did so the other man pulled out a firearm and opened fire. Welch then fled the area but collapsed a short distance away on Pen Road. He was transported to the Southern Regional Hospital where he remains in stable condition. Police are seeking three men from Dangriga concerning the shooting.
