Football Federation of Belize condemns violence on the field

The Football Federation of Belize (FFB) is condemning acts of violence on the football pitch after several matches resulted in brawls among players. Over the weekend, there were at least four incidents, including one at a sanctioned FFB competition, where players became irate and engaged in physical altercations. The organization says that it condemns aggression within the football community and is launching a comprehensive investigation into the matters falling under its jurisdiction. According to FFB, the investigation will seek to uncover the full details surrounding the fights, including identifying individuals involved and gathering evidence. FFB added that appropriate action will be taken to ensure such incidents do not recur in the future.
