Lydia Guerra, Colonel, Belize Defence Force: “I worked towards it. I know I’ve worked very hard and there’s been many years of dedication but it’s always, you know, quite an honor to reach this rank and being the first woman in Belize to earn the rank of Lieutenant Colonel within the Belize Defense Force.”
