Investors Turned Away from Stake Bank Island

A group of potential international investors were turned away from Stake Bank Island yesterday after businessman, Mike Feinstein, reportedly denied them access.  Feinstein’s move was possible since he remains the owner of the 23 acres that surround the Stake Bank facility, which has to be used in order to enter the cruise port.  Government had expressed intentions on doing a compulsory acquisition of Feinstein’s portion but that was placed on hold indefinitely.  Love News understands that the investors were taken to the island yesterday by the OPSA Group which is currently trying to sell the island.
