“A clown show” – that’s how the Minister of Education, Francis Fonseca described the recent attempt by the Leader of the Opposition, Moses Shyne Barrow, to oust Prime Minister Briceno. On Monday, Barrow filed a submission of no-confidence to the House of Representatives against Prime Minister John Briceno. Barrow cited several reasons behind his move and stated that he’s hoping to receive support from members of Briceno’s Cabinet. However, Fonseca says Barrow is barking up the wrong tree.
Francis Fonseca, Minister of Education: “I would describe that as a total clown show, absolute nonsense. So he’s wasting his time as he does quite often.”
Vejea Alvarez, Love FM News: As a minister in cabinet, is it that you know the prime minister does enjoy the full support of all the ministers there in your opinion?
Francis Fonseca, Minister of Education: “Absolutely, absolutely. Prime minister enjoys the full confidence of all the cabinet ministers as well as the parliamentarians.”
