MOHW Investigate Doctor at Independence Polyclinic Who Refused to Treat Burn Victim

The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues to investigate the doctor from the Independence Polyclinic who turned away a burn victim from the institution. The incident occurred early this month when nineteen-year-old Valeriano Pop was taking out the trash to burn and it violently exploded. This caused him to receive severe burns to about 70% of his body, and he needed to undergo surgery. CEO in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Julio Sabido, explains that they have received several reports and are now getting ready to evaluate all the information to come to a conclusive decision.
